Bio

I got my start in Interactive Design in 1997, the heady Sputnik days of the web. Having received a degree in Anthropology and Russian from the University of Vermont I moved to Philadelphia where a classmate had begun an internet start-up. After interning for a few months I was offered a job as their first official employee. I learned the fundamentals of interactive design and development from the talented founders of Image Refinery. I had the opportunity to cut my teeth on such clients as Sony Pictures Classics and GMAC Commercial Mortgage.

I soon set out on my own and began an eight-year run as a freelance interactive designer/developer moving first to Burlington, Vermont and eventually landing in Austin, Texas in 2000. I’ve been here ever since excepting a brief stint in the Bay Area in 2005. I developed a good list of clients and a strong contracting relationship with several agencies. In 2006 I accepted a position as Senior Interactive Designer at SicolaMartin Marketing and Advertising agency. I’ve had the pleasure of working with some really great people and done some exciting work as a result.
